East Branch Snowfield: 3/3/23

On a glorious sunny late morning Carol and I took a walk up the Lincoln Woods Trail and snowshoed out onto a vast area of dry riverbed on the East Branch, which becomes an expansive snowfield when there is deep snowpack covering the rocks. The views of the Bonds were gorgeous.

The wide and wonderful East Branch, as seen from the fenced washout along the Lincoln Woods Trail.

A happy snowshoer!
