A smoke-hazy, humid morning jaunt up the Greenleaf Trail to Eagle Pass, with a side trip up the Eagle Cliff Slide on the way down.
On the climb up to the Pass, which unfortunately is plagued with highway noise, the trail passes through this boulder squeeze.

After a short bushwhack, heading up the prominent slide on the slope below Eagle Cliff. This was one of two massive slides that fell on the east side of Franconia Notch in 1948 and buried the road. Luckily there were no injuries.
