That trail sure is steep and a bit forbidding near the top, and there's a real sense of isolation out there.
Stev Steve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16403760631302934834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-20174380469960369852017-10-08T11:01:42.909-04:002017-10-08T11:01:42.909-04:00We attempted Owl's Cliff a couple of years ago...We attempted Owl's Cliff a couple of years ago by the Rob Brook-Brunel Trail route. It was a cold, windy overcast day in November. We got close to the top at the very steep section and I had a sense of forbidding probably enhanced by the weather and rough condition of the trail and we turned around. It looks like the view from the top is very nice and I think we will try it again on a warmer sunny day. I've only been to the big ledge on the southern shoulder, a great viewpoint.
Steve
Steve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16403760631302934834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-18897674491878077012017-08-19T11:05:41.436-04:002017-08-19T11:05:41.436-04:00Wonderful remote area.
