It's nice to stop and smell the roses.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01710913868902494442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-23923341273348426302015-10-23T21:25:58.967-04:002015-10-23T21:25:58.967-04:00Hi Nick,

It was chilly in the valley today, so it must have been quite brisk up top! Thanks for sharing.
SteveSteve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16403760631302934834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-39856472376311909862015-10-23T18:09:20.064-04:002015-10-23T18:09:20.064-04:00Steve, I hiked Monadnock today retracing your path...Steve, I hiked Monadnock today retracing your path from June, 2014 (going up). I really enjoyed the Cliff Walk and the hike from Mount Rosa to the summit is awesome! I did not see one person until I got to the summit! Didn't have time to hike your route down. I took White Dot which had a few people, but not the Ant Parade of White Cross. I liked the descent, lots of spots to sit and enjoy the view and the steepness was challenging enough to be fun. Thirty six degrees and twenty mph wind on top, so most of my "view time" was on the way down. Thanks for posting.Nick Pacellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07160728044281317803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-7081882705931708812015-10-20T22:16:43.492-04:002015-10-20T22:16:43.492-04:00A bluebird - now that would really be something! I was only there for 2 1/2 hours. The jay only stayed a minute or two. Really startled me when it landed on my boot. One of the best summits, for sure.

SteveSteve Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16403760631302934834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3814464431995035927.post-59590074905194880862015-10-19T21:55:36.194-04:002015-10-19T21:55:36.194-04:00My son (who I let bunk school for the day)and I di...My son (who I let bunk school for the day)and I did a foliage hike to Garfield a few years back. Spent four hours on the summit. Amazing views. Love the pics, especially, Bondcliff, but jealous of your jay.
